Our mushroom farms
At Mood Brands, our journey starts in the serene mountains, where our forest-shaded greenhouses and small family farms thrive far from urban centers. All our mushrooms are organically grown, with each strain cultivated in its ideal environment—Reishi and Lion's Mane in humid shade houses, Cordyceps in controlled indoor climates, and Chaga wild-harvested. Once ready, they’re carefully picked to ensure the highest quality.


Extraction process
The fun part comes next—each mushroom is hand-picked or forged by our farmers. They’re then dried and crushed into a fine powder to maximize surface area for extraction. Using large pressure cookers, we heat the cells to crack the walls, repeating the process up to three times. This breaks down the indigestible chitin, releasing beneficial polysaccharides and beta-glucans, making them bioavailable for our bodies to absorb.
Spray-drying
After pressure cooking, we separate the liquid from the fiber and concentrate it to the right density. The mixture is then spray-dried to remove any remaining moisture, preventing mold. Finally, the powder is sifted through a fine sieve to ensure only the smoothest, finest particles remain.


Testing
After the initial testing, the final phase is to determine the polysaccharide content. We shine UV light through the powder to measure the percentage of polysaccharides, ensuring the highest quality before it's ready for use.
Final stage
The final step is packaging our pure mushroom extracts, ensuring they’re beautifully presented and ready for use. Our extracts contain only the mushrooms—no mycelium, grains, or wood—just pure, potent goodness.
